Yeppa & Co. Buckhead

The Buckhead Yeppa sits at 306 Buckhead Avenue NE in the Buckhead Village District, the walkable retail block off Peachtree, and it is the second of the two Atlanta locations from Pietro Gianni and Stephen Peterson — the Y Hospitality partners behind Storico Fresco, Storico Vino and Forza Storico. The concept is the same: an Italian bar and trattoria drawing on Rimini, the coastal city in Emilia-Romagna, with an interior that leans into a Formula One motif and a bar that anchors the room. What differs is the schedule. Buckhead opens at 11:30am every day of the week and runs to eleven, or midnight on Friday and Saturday, where the BeltLine site is dinner-led and closed on Mondays. That makes it the more useful of the pair for anyone who wants a drink over lunch or in the middle of the afternoon.

The zero-proof list carries across from the BeltLine location, and it works for the same structural reason: aperitivo drinks are built on bitterness, dilution and carbonation rather than on the warmth of alcohol, so removing the alcohol costs them less than it costs a spirit-forward cocktail. The house Spritz is assembled with Lapo's non-alcoholic aperitif and soda, without prosecco, keeping the bitter-orange profile and the colour that makes it look like everyone else's glass on the table. Amore e Passione is the floral, fruit-led alternative, built on Floreale non-alcoholic aperitivo with passion fruit, lemon and soda. Food is handmade pasta and Adriatic-influenced cooking, and there is a full wine list, so this is a licensed restaurant with a real non-alcoholic option rather than an alcohol-free room — a four on our scale, listed separately from the BeltLine site because it is a distinct address with its own hours and its own kitchen.
