11235 Alpharetta Hwy Suite 136, Roswell, GA 30076
967 is the country calling code for Yemen, and the name is the whole thesis: the shop exists to serve Yemeni coffee to a suburb that had never had a place selling it. It opened in a suite at 11235 Alpharetta Highway in Roswell in the run-up to Ramadan in early 2025, and 285 South noted the arrival in its March 2025 survey of the Yemeni cafes then appearing across metro Atlanta — a cluster that also included Shibam in Alpharetta, Mokhaport in Tucker and, later, Haraz in Midtown. The Roswell site sits in a strip centre on the main north-south artery, which is unglamorous but well positioned for a room that does most of its business after dark.
The hours are the strongest argument for the place. 967 trades from 7am until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 2am on Friday and Saturday, and it holds a full house late into the evening without pouring a drop of alcohol. That combination is close to unavailable elsewhere in north Fulton, where the late-night alternatives are bars or nothing. The drinks board keeps Yemeni tradition and modern cafe work in the same frame: Iced Adeni Chai and the Iced Yemeni Latte are the two house signatures, qishr — steeped from coffee cherry husks rather than the bean — represents the older end of the tradition, and pistachio and Biscoff lattes cover the sweeter, contemporary side. Dragon fruit and strawberry refreshers are the non-coffee option. Desserts and pastries are sold from the counter, and the seating plan favours long stays: booths and tables sized for groups rather than a queue of takeaway cups. Nothing on the premises is alcoholic, which puts 967 squarely in the same category as the kava lounges and dedicated alcohol-free bars closer to the city centre, just with a very different drinks list.
