Desert Edge Brewery

Tucked into the historic Trolley Square shopping center near 600 East, Desert Edge keeps a casual, regulars-first feel alongside a small outdoor patio that's pleasant in the evening. Because the brewery sells its beer only at the pub, the NA-curious can sit at the same bar as the craft-beer crowd and still order a zero-proof pour or an espresso drink without feeling out of place.

The brewery opened in Trolley Square in 1972 and added its own on-premise brewing in 1995; its from-scratch kitchen and award-winning beers — including a Great American Beer Festival gold for its Happy Valley Hefeweizen — have made it a steady fixture of the central-city scene for over five decades.
