Joia Beach sits at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail on Watson Island, the man-made island in Biscayne Bay that the MacArthur Causeway crosses between downtown Miami and South Beach. The setting is the point: a beach club and dining room on the sand, facing back across the water at the downtown skyline. Service starts at 11:30am and finishes at 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10pm on Sunday and 11pm on Friday and Saturday; the venue is closed on Tuesdays, which is worth checking before making the drive out.

The alcohol-free drink documented at the club is the Joia Lemonade, and it is one of the more distinctive builds on this list. Seedlip Garden — the pea-and-hay expression from the London non-alcoholic distiller — is combined with citrus, pineapple and a rosemary agave, then coloured and softened with activated charcoal, which turns the glass almost black and cuts some of the sweetness the pineapple would otherwise carry. RESIDENT covered the drink in its December 2025 Miami round-up, wrote that it reads clean and intentional, and noted that the European-inspired setting reinforces the appeal, describing it as a zero-proof option designed for daylight hours and slow afternoons by the water. That is a fair reading of the venue: this is a daytime and early-evening destination rather than a late-night bar, and the drinks list is built for the sun. Only one named alcohol-free build is published, which is why the programme is graded as real but modest. Two practical points. Watson Island is reached only by the MacArthur Causeway, so the venue is a drive or a rideshare rather than a walk from anywhere, and there is no realistic way to combine it with a second stop on foot.
