Komyuniti is the bar and restaurant inside YOTEL Singapore, on the Orchard Road hotel strip, and it is easy to overlook precisely because it is a hotel bar. That would be a mistake for anyone who is not drinking, because its menu is organised in a way that very few bars in Singapore manage: the zero-proof drinks are a named, permanent part of the structure rather than an appendix.

The list is split into seven series — DRY, WOOD, SOBER, KLASSIC, ACID, FRUIT and SPUMY. SOBER sits in that sequence as an equal, with its own page on the bar's menu site, which means a non-drinking guest is choosing from a labelled section of the main list rather than asking what can be made without alcohol. There are four drinks in it, priced at S$16++ against S$23++ for the cocktails, and each is specified with the same precision as the spirited builds. Calm And Go combines Giffard elderflower with chamomile tea, fresh herbs and soda. She's A Ginger uses Giffard ginger with lemon, cranberry and a vegan foamer in place of egg white. Kinky Pinky pairs Giffard grapefruit with bitter concentrate, orange, rosemary and tonic. Hula Who Lah is the tiki-leaning one, built on orgeat with pineapple, orange, lemon, spice bitters and a cocoa mist.

The use of Giffard across three of the four is worth noting, since it means the flavour base is a proper bar syrup and liqueur range rather than commercial cordial. The programme sits under award-winning mixologist As'ad Isnin, and the bar has run non-alcoholic craft cocktails as a stated focus for several years rather than adopting them recently. As a hotel bar it serves food throughout the day and is an easy, unfussy option in a part of Orchard Road that is otherwise dominated by malls.
