Sober Bars in Singapore

Singapore is one of the world's great cocktail cities — its bars crowd the Asia's 50 Best and World's 50 Best lists — and that same craft is what powers its non-alcoholic drinking: the best rooms build zero-proof menus with the same technique as the originals rather than tacking on a mocktail. Repeat 50 Best names lead the way — Jigger & Pony weaves a no-and-low section into its IDENTITY "menuzine", the Art Deco gin palace Atlas now brings zero-proof cocktails to the front of its list, and the sustainability-driven Native and Fura on Amoy Street run full alcohol-free menus built from house ferments, hydrosols and surplus produce, with Gibson close behind. The luxury hotel bars lean in hard — Manhattan, MO Bar, Raffles' Writers Bar and Fairmont's ANTI:DOTE all pour serious spirit-free lists — while the city's Michelin-starred kitchens treat the non-alcoholic pairing as a real flight, from two-star Meta, Thevar, Cloudstreet and Seroja to Marguerite and Restaurant Born. Dedicated fully alcohol-free rooms are still few, but Temple Cellars stocks the city's deepest zero-proof bottle range and heritage tea houses like The Intan and Phoenix Hill round out a night without a drink — and for a properly made non-alcoholic cocktail, Singapore's best bars rank among the finest anywhere.

Fully alcohol-free venues in Singapore

The entire menu is non-alcoholic. No bar pressure, no "what'll you have" awkwardness.

  1. #1 · Alcohol-free venue

    Incloud

    Bras Basah

NA Program Strength: 5 of 5?

Incloud is a fully alcohol-free Chinese teahouse on Prinsep Street, and the only venue of its kind in Singapore built around a floating stream: a channel of running water set into the communal table that carries cups of tea to guests. It trades as an elegant tea-set room by day, with pastries and full gongfu service, and shifts into something much closer to a bar at night. The hours are what make it genuinely useful to a non-drinker — it runs until 3am from Sunday to Friday and until 4am on Saturdays, which is later than most licensed bars in the city, making it one of the very few late-night social venues in Singapore where alcohol is not part of the equation.

Bars with serious NA programs in Singapore

These bars serve alcohol but run extensive NA programs — meaning the zero-proof side is a real menu, not a Shirley Temple afterthought.

  1. #1 · Extensive NA menu

    Atlas

    Bugis

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Atlas is the cathedral-like Art Deco lobby bar inside Parkview Square's 'Gotham Building,' a fixture of The World's 50 Best Bars and home to an eight-metre gin tower. Its 2026 'Daughters of Atlas' menu deliberately moves zero-proof cocktails to the front of the list to include non-drinkers, built with the same precision as the alcoholic serves. Real alcohol-free options include the Vanda Mist (S$12 - grapefruit, almond syrup, salt, cinnamon and cream over crushed ice), the spiced-spirit Miss Rouge, and Hope On The Horizon (kombucha and yuzu), a champagne-cocktail alternative.

  2. #2 · Extensive NA menu

    Native

    Amoy Street

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Native, Vijay Mudaliar's pioneering sustainability-led cocktail bar on Amoy Street, runs a full non-alcoholic menu with as many drinks as its alcohol list, all built without refined sugar using hydrosols, edible oils and in-house ferments. Zero-proof anchors include the Sereh Telang (butterfly pea, lemongrass, calamansi) and a house Thai-style ginger beer (galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, chili), each around S$12. The team leans on its fermentation lab -- kombuchas, misos, meads and a koji-aged 'pineapple shoyu' from fruit waste -- to give the no-alcohol builds real depth. Native ranked No. 45 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2025 and No. 84 on The World's 50 Best Bars 2025.

  3. #3 · Extensive NA menu

    One Trick Pony

    Tanjong Pagar

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

One Trick Pony is a Club Street hybrid — a coworking cafe by day that turns into a restaurant and cocktail bar by night — whose 'No-Low & Full ABV' programme is billed as Singapore's first to build the drink around a fully zero-proof base you can optionally spike, rather than treating the non-alcoholic version as an afterthought. The signature list runs alcohol-free by default, with drinks like the Golden Glow and Popcorn Paloma, and cocktails start from S$20. The drinks direction comes from Vijay Mudaliar, founder of Native, one of Asia's 50 Best Bars. The Honeycombers describes the signature list as a fully zero-proof line-up that you can choose to have spiked, which is the inversion that makes this bar worth the trip.

  4. #4 · Extensive NA menu

    Gibson

    Bukit Pasoh

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Gibson is a second-floor speakeasy on Bukit Pasoh Road from the Jigger & Pony Group, a longtime fixture of Asia's 50 Best Bars, whose menu carries a genuinely considered non-alcoholic section illustrated with watercolour sketches of its key ingredients. The anchor is the Urban Farmer No.4 (S$18), a zero-proof build around locally grown cranberry hibiscus from urban-farming collective Edible Garden City, with tangy, citrusy notes. Gibson also pours a non-alcoholic Bloody Mary (S$18) and alcohol-free variations of its signature cocktails, so a non-drinker is treated to the same care as the spirit-forward list.

  5. #5 · Extensive NA menu

    MO Bar

    Marina Bay

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

MO Bar, the flagship cocktail bar of Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, treats its non-alcoholic drinks as first-class pours rather than afterthoughts. The kitchen-driven bar team makes its own kombuchas and ferments, and the current Vol. 7 'Modern Localism' menu is built so drinks can be ordered either way: mocktails such as The Artis (fermented banana tibicos, pandan and coconut salt) are served alcohol-free by default with the choice to add vodka, while cocktails like B.T.B (Bean to Bar) come in a non-alcoholic variation. An earlier menu produced The Formosan (S$16), a coconut-cream Irish-coffee alternative served hot or cold.

  6. #6 · Extensive NA menu

    Manhattan

    Orchard

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Manhattan is the grand hotel cocktail bar on Level 2 of the Conrad Singapore Orchard (the former Regent Singapore), a former World's Best Bar in Asia that runs a genuine printed zero-proof section called 'Off Broadway' — four non-alcoholic creations, one for each chapter of its 'Seasons of Manhattan' menu. Head bartender Zana Mohlmann builds the Autumn Groove Fizz by dosing tonic with a lemon-mushroom oleo saccharum, and the Blooming Daisy on Lyre's non-alcoholic agave spirit with bee pollen and rose lychee milk tea. The same house-craft techniques behind the bar's barrel-aged cocktails carry into the zero-proof drinks, so alcohol-free guests get a genuine seat in one of Asia's most decorated rooms.

  7. #7 · Extensive NA menu

    Writers Bar

    City Hall / Civic District

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Tucked into the front corner of Raffles Hotel Singapore's Grand Lobby, Writers Bar runs a genuine printed list of eight non-alcoholic cocktails served in proper stemware. Bar manager Konstantine Arzumanov's zero-proof builds include the Emin Pasha, an Arabic-influenced old-fashioned of Seedlip Spice 94, miso, orgeat, gum and demerara syrups and orange-blossom water, and the Strike Slip, a clarified serve of Lyre's White Cane, sencha, soursop and calamansi. The NA drinks are composed with the same care as the bar's literary-themed alcoholic cocktails, not treated as an afterthought.

  8. #8 · Extensive NA menu

    ANTI:DOTE

    City Hall

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

ANTI:DOTE is Fairmont Singapore's apothecary-themed cocktail bar, where Head Mixologist Kingston Chin's 'Cure-All' menu carries genuine zero-proof builds alongside its spirit-forward remedies. Its weekly 'Pretty Sober Night' (every Tuesday from 5pm) puts alcohol-free cocktails such as Virgin Sling, Good Fortune, Golden Reset and Berry Mint Tea front and centre from S$10++, with Heineken 0.0 and other non-alcoholic beers on hand. Year-round, signatures are offered in NA form too - Ammachi's Coffee (S$22) swaps whisky and rum for Lyre's Malt and Spiced Cane, and Deja vu (S$22) leans on a house ginger tonic infused with cinchona bark.

  9. #9 · Extensive NA menu

    Fura

    Telok Ayer

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Fura is a future-food, low-carbon cocktail bar on Amoy Street whose printed 'Ugly Delicious' menu section runs five dedicated non-alcoholic drinks alongside five house-fermented low-alcohol 'wines'. The zero- and low-proof work is central to the concept: imperfect surplus fruit and vegetables (in partnership with local vendor Fresh Veggies) are fermented in-house into fruit wines and kombucha rather than thrown away. Run by ex-Noma head forager Christina Rasmussen and ex-Operation Dagger bartender Sasha Wijidessa, it won the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award at Asia's 50 Best Bars 2024.

  10. #10 · Extensive NA menu

    Neon Pigeon

    Boat Quay

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Neon Pigeon is a Tokyo-inspired 'third culture' izakaya on Carpenter Street whose drinks list is deliberately split into full-proof, half-proof and zero-proof cocktails built with the same craft — the alcohol-free builds are listed alongside the rest rather than buried at the back of the menu. The best-selling zero-proof No Kaze pours Lyre's London Dry (alcohol-free gin) with London Essence blood-orange-and-elderflower tonic, a house Thai-basil cordial and a dashi-and-seaweed saline, garnished with Japanese cucumber, shiso and celery. The floral Lady Hinata (S$14) layers zero-proof gin with lavender, cucumber and shishito peppers, and there's a non-alcoholic Amaretti Sour built on Lyre's Amaretti and zero-proof Prosecco.

  11. #11 · Extensive NA menu

    Phoenix Hill Tea Merchant

    Joo Chiat

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Phoenix Hill Tea Merchant is a family-run Teochew (Chao Shan) tea house on Joo Chiat Place, a purely non-alcoholic space built around Feng Huang Dan Cong oolong grown on the owners' own plantation in the Phoenix Mountains (Fenghuang) of Shantou, Guangdong. Run by Singaporean couple Julie and Stephen, the shop pours tea tastings throughout opening hours and Julie leads hands-on tea-appreciation courses over gongfu brews of charcoal-roasted Dan Cong. Alongside the signature Dan Cong the racks hold Pu-er, Da Hong Pao, Tie Guan Yin, green and flower teas, every cup alcohol-free by definition.

  12. #12 · Extensive NA menu

    Meta

    Robertson Quay

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Meta is chef Sun Kim's two-Michelin-starred contemporary Korean restaurant on Mohamed Sultan Road, near Robertson Quay. Its tasting menus are offered with a full non-alcoholic pairing at S$120++, a house-made zero-proof flight built to run course-by-course alongside the S$280++ wine pairing rather than as an afterthought. The NA program mirrors the kitchen's Korean-rooted, seasonally driven cooking, giving diners a genuine no-alcohol route through the full degustation. Chef Sun Kim told The Korea Times he does not believe in perfection so much as the process of getting closer to it, and the drinks flight is treated with that same seriousness.

  13. #13 · Extensive NA menu

    Cloudstreet

    Telok Ayer

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Cloudstreet is chef Rishi Naleendra's two-Michelin-starred restaurant on Amoy Street, where sommelier Vinodhan Veloo (formerly of Odette) runs a formal course-by-course non-alcoholic pairing at S$168++ alongside the wine flights. Built from clarified juices, teas, ferments and house infusions, it runs to drinks like the Jack & Jill (jackfruit, coconut water, curry leaves, de-alcoholised sherry) and a blue-pea compressed-apple juice matched to the opening Hokkaido scallop course. This is a genuine zero-proof tasting experience matched dish-for-dish, not an afterthought poured on request.

  14. #14 · Extensive NA menu

    Seroja

    Bugis

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Seroja is chef Kevin Wong's two-Michelin-starred Nusantara restaurant in the Duo Galleria at Bugis, and its non-alcoholic pairing is a genuine anchor of the beverage program rather than an afterthought. The roughly S$148 zero-proof flight is built to run alongside the S$288++ tasting menu, using fruit and vegetable trimmings that would otherwise be discarded. Named house infusions include a chestnut, watercress and lotus-root brew aged in an apple-wood barrel, and a pomegranate, mulberries and curry-leaf blend that plays sweet against savoury. This waste-conscious drinks work is part of what earned Seroja a Michelin Green Star. Chef Kevin Wong has said he could not connect with the other cuisines he trained in because they were not part of his DNA, and the drinks follow the same logic as the food.

  15. #15 · Extensive NA menu

    Restaurant Born

    Tanjong Pagar

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Chef Zor Tan's contemporary fine-dining room inside the restored Jinrikisha Station runs a genuine, full-length non-alcoholic beverage pairing (S$138 per person) that stands beside its wine flight rather than behind it. The zero-proof programme is built from in-house ferments and cold-pressed juices alongside teas sourced from China, Korea and Taiwan, echoing the same ingredients used on the plate. Named pours include the Celery & Shiso sparkling soda, the naturally fermented Jerusalem Artichoke 'Fly', a Milk Oolong from Anxi in Fujian and a Woojeon green tea from Jeju Island.

  16. #16 · Extensive NA menu

    Marguerite

    Marina Bay

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Marguerite is a one-Michelin-star restaurant set inside the Flower Dome conservatory at Gardens by the Bay, led by chef-owner Michael Wilson. Its temperance beverage pairing (around S$88) is a genuine, dish-by-dish non-alcoholic flight built to mirror wine rather than a list of mocktails: clarified juices and house-fermented jun teas. Standouts include a gala apple and verjuice juice aged on oak chips to echo a lighter chardonnay, and a jackfruit jun tea fermented from green tea and honey. Every pour is house-made, with no commercial zero-proof brands.

  17. #17 · Extensive NA menu

    Tea Chapter

    Chinatown

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Tea Chapter is Singapore's best-known traditional Chinese teahouse, occupying a pair of conserved shophouses at 9 and 11 Neil Road on the edge of Chinatown and trading since 1989. It is entirely alcohol-free, and it is one of the few tea rooms in the city that stays open into the evening — until 10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays — which makes it a workable alternative to a bar rather than only a daytime stop. Guests sit at low tables in the upstairs rooms and brew their own leaf in gongfu sets with staff guidance, and the house runs formal tea appreciation classes. Queen Elizabeth II visited in 1989, and the seat she used is still marked.

  18. #18 · Extensive NA menu

    Tea Room by Ki-setsu

    Orchard

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Tea Room by Ki-setsu is a private, fully alcohol-free Chinese tea room on the seventh floor of Orchard Plaza, run as a booked session rather than a walk-in cafe. Groups of two to five are seated for roughly an hour at around S$68 per person, and a host works through a curated flight of rare leaf in gongfu format, explaining each infusion as it changes across successive steepings. The teas are sourced directly rather than through wholesalers, with material from Bulang Mountain and Yiwu — both serious pu-erh origins in Yunnan. It is the most technically ambitious tea experience in Singapore, and the closest local equivalent to a tasting-menu bar programme without alcohol.

  19. #19 · Extensive NA menu

    Zén

    Bukit Pasoh

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Zén holds three MICHELIN stars in a restored Bukit Pasoh shophouse, and it runs one of the most serious non-alcoholic pairings in Asia. The zero-proof programme is priced at around S$250 per person — set against the wine flight rather than discounted below it — and it is rebuilt whenever the kitchen changes its menu, so it tracks the food course by course instead of recycling a fixed set of juices. The drinks are constructed rather than poured: a sparkling aperitif of heirloom tomatoes and red plums, a Peach with Pepper made from aged peaches juiced and fermented with oxalis stems, and a white wine alternative of fermented quince, apple, pear and lemon finished with toasted pecan and walnut water.

  20. #20 · Extensive NA menu

    Komyuniti

    Orchard

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Komyuniti is the in-house bar and restaurant at YOTEL Singapore on Orchard Road, and it prints one of the few genuinely named zero-proof menu sections in the city. The drinks list is divided into seven series — DRY, WOOD, SOBER, KLASSIC, ACID, FRUIT and SPUMY — and SOBER is a standing part of that structure with its own menu page, not an afterthought tacked onto the back. Four builds run at S$16++ against S$23++ for the spirited drinks, each specified as precisely as the alcoholic list: Calm And Go with Giffard elderflower, chamomile tea, fresh herbs and soda; She's A Ginger; Kinky Pinky; and Hula Who Lah. The programme is run by mixologist As'ad Isnin.

What makes a bar "sober-friendly"?

"Sober-friendly" covers a wider range of venues than people usually realize. On one end: a fully alcohol-free bar where every drink on the menu is zero-proof and the staff is trained around the experience. On the other: a regular cocktail bar with a couple of mocktails listed but a vibe that still revolves around drinking. Both can work, depending on what you need.

What we look for in a 5/5 rating: the entire menu is alcohol-free, the owners explicitly position the space as a non-alcoholic destination, and the staff treats NA drinking as the default rather than the exception. A 4/5 rating goes to bars that serve alcohol but maintain a deep, named NA program — usually with multiple signature mocktails and an NA-spirits section on the back bar.

We don't claim to be a recovery resource — for that, your local AA, NA, or SMART Recovery chapter is the right call. But for anyone choosing not to drink tonight, for any reason, this is the directory you want.
