5500 Main St, Suite 122, Houston, TX 77004
Le Jardinier Houston opened in 2021 inside the Nancy and Rich Kinder Building at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH), the museum's newest wing at the corner of Main Street and Bissonnet in the Museum District. It is the Houston outpost of The Bastion Collection's Le Jardinier group, which also operates locations in New York, Miami, and Geneva. The concept was created by culinary director Alain Verzeroli, a longtime protege of Joel Robuchon, and is run day to day by Executive Chef Felipe Botero and Pastry Chef Tiffani Ann Gkaris. The restaurant won a Michelin star at Texas's inaugural Michelin Guide ceremony in 2024 and retained the star in the 2025 guide.
The printed menu carries a standing "Zero Proof Cocktails" section of three named, priced drinks: the Le Jardin ($14 - cucumber juice, fine herb syrup, lime juice, soda, cucumber, mint), the Citrus Lumiere ($15 - Veridoshe Ginesis non-alcoholic aperitif, blood orange, lime juice, honey syrup, soda), and the Blush Garden ($14 - Veridoshe Ginesis non-alcoholic aperitif, peach nectar, mint syrup, lime, soda). On weekends, the restaurant's "Le Rose Jardin" brunch adds a separate $30-per-guest mocktail pairing built around non-alcoholic spirits, including drinks such as Fraise et Ananas (strawberry syrup, pineapple, simple syrup, non-alcoholic tequila), Pink Fizz (lime, simple syrup, cranberry, non-alcoholic gin), and a Strawberry Rose Spritz (strawberry, lemon, rose water, non-alcoholic rose wine), matched course by course alongside the alcoholic wine pairing option.
Houston's Dry January coverage has flagged the program: CultureMap Houston's January 2025 roundup highlighted the Le Jardin and a seasonal "Yellow Boots" mocktail (spiced pineapple tisane and coconut cordial). The zero-proof list and brunch pairing appear to rotate seasonally along with the rest of the kitchen's ingredient-driven menu.
