Turner's Cut opened in June 2024 in Houston's Autry Park development, the newest steakhouse from Ben Berg's Berg Hospitality Group (which also runs Turner's, Prime 131, and B&B Butchers). Executive Chef Chelsea Cummings runs the kitchen alongside regional culinary director Pablo Peñalosa, serving rare cuts of American and Japanese Wagyu and Kobe beef inside a Gilded Age-styled dining room with leather walls, soaring ceilings, antique chandeliers, and white-glove service.
Despite its full bar and extensive wine list, Turner's Cut runs a genuine named zero-proof cocktail program at $12 per drink: the Strawberry Rose Refresher (Seedlip Grove 42, Monin strawberry rose syrup, simple syrup, Fever-Tree club soda), Spiced Pear (Seedlip Spiced 94, Monin pear syrup, organic honey, Fever-Tree ginger beer), Margfreerita (Cut Above Total Zero Proof agave blanco, Monin mango syrup, agave, Fever-Tree club soda), and Kosnopolitan (Seedlip Grove 42, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice). CultureMap Houston, Bayou Beat News, and Hot in Houston Now each independently confirmed the identical four-drink list during Dry January 2025 coverage, noting it is shared with sister restaurant Prime 131 across the Berg Hospitality Group's beverage program.
The restaurant sits inside Autry Park, a 14-acre mixed-use development on the western edge of Buffalo Bayou Park at Allen Parkway and Shepherd Drive — bridging Houston's Montrose and River Oaks neighborhoods just west of downtown.
