Grüvi is a Denver, Colorado-based non-alcoholic beverage brand founded in 2019 by brother-and-sister duo Niki and Anika Sawni. The minority-owned, family-run company set out to make non-alcoholic drinks feel fun and appealing rather than an afterthought, spanning a fuller range than most NA brands: craft beer plus sparkling and still wines.
The beer lineup includes the flagship Golden Era lager (brewed to less than 0.5% ABV), the Juicy Dayz IPA, a Weekday Wit and a Mocha Moment nitro stout, while the wine side covers a 0.0% Dry Secco, Bubbly Rosé, Sangria and a Red Blend. The Golden Era lager earned a Gold Medal in the non-alcoholic beer category at the 2022 World Beer Cup, and other products have picked up recognition at competitions including the International Wine & Spirit Competition and the San Francisco World Beer Competition.
In September 2021 Grüvi raised $2.0 million in seed funding in a round led by Rockies Venture Club, with participation from Maple Leaf Angels, Head & Heart Capital and others, to fuel expansion. The brand has since grown to thousands of retail doors across the U.S. and Canada, with distribution in retailers such as Whole Foods Market and Total Wine.
