North Italia's Sand Lake Road location serves the group's handmade pasta and wood-fired pizza in the Restaurant Row dining corridor of Dr. Phillips, near the Universal-and-convention tourist zone, with lunch, happy hour, dinner, and weekend brunch service. The restaurant occupies The Rialto plaza on Restaurant Row and was reviewed as a brand-new arrival by longtime Orlando restaurant critic Scott Joseph in December 2021.
The zero-proof section of the drink menu lists six named options: Just Peachy (white peach, raspberry, lemon, ginger beer), 00 Spritz (Mionetto non-alcoholic aperitivo, crushed lemon, bubbles), La Spezia (Pentire non-alcoholic spirit, blood orange, honey, lemon), Pina No-Lada (coconut, pineapple, fresh lime, bubbles), Faux Me Twice (non-alcoholic sauvignon blanc, strawberry, pineapple, smashed citrus), and Phony Negroni (St. Agrestis non-alcoholic amaro spirit).
The bar also pours non-alcoholic prosecco (Zonin Cuvée Zero), a non-alcoholic sauvignon blanc (Miguel Torres Serena N/A), and Athletic Brewing's N/A Golden Ale among the beers, giving the corridor's many visiting non-drinkers a full spirit-free menu — cocktails, wine, and beer — rather than a single token option.
The program has drawn outside recognition beyond the restaurant's own marketing: Visit Orlando, the region's official tourism board, named North Italia among its 'Marvelous Orlando Mocktail Spots for Sober Sipping,' specifically calling out the six-drink zero-proof lineup as standing apart from a typical chain wine-and-beer list.
“They have six unique options to suit all palates, from the sweet Pina No-Lada (coconut, pineapple, lime, berries) to options crafted with nonalcoholic wine and spirits.”— Beth BellVisit Orlando →
