171 East Liberty Street, Unit 113, Toronto, ON M6K 3P6

NRG Haus is a social wellness club in Liberty Village at 171 East Liberty Street, built around contrast therapy rather than a conventional bar or gym. The facility runs a spacious sauna room alongside a cold-plunge room with four tubs set to different temperatures and LED visuals for guided breathwork, plus showers and multiple lounge areas; it operates as a barefoot facility with towel service, and robes and sandals are available. It was founded by Ivan Ho, with Will Edwards as director of operations, and opened on February 20, 2026 — the name stands for Nourish, Recharge, Gather.

The concept is explicitly built around sobriety: as Ho told NOW Toronto, "NRG Haus, which stands for Nourish, Recharge, Gather, is a next generation social wellness club that's built on community recovery without the need of alcohol being at the centre of it." Director of operations Will Edwards has pointed to the broader generational shift away from drinking — noting alcohol consumption has fallen by roughly 90% globally — as part of the thinking behind a social space with no alcohol at all; IV therapy with vitamin injections is offered alongside the contrast-therapy sessions to round out the recovery focus.

True to that premise, no alcohol is served anywhere on site. The mocktail bar instead pours a small menu of named functional beverages: Up Regulate, dosed with B-12 for an energizing lift; Down Regulate, built on L-theanine and ashwagandha for a calming, sleep-supportive evening pour; and Moderate, a rehydration- and balance-focused option. Drinks are served in the lounge areas around the vapour fireplace, where the format is built for conversation rather than a traditional bar crowd.

Access runs on a pay-per-visit and membership model: a single 90-minute contrast-therapy session costs $45, a two-week unlimited introductory pass is $99, and Founding Club memberships offer locked-in pricing. The club also runs weekend "Haus Parties" — $49, 120-minute themed events running Friday through Sunday, with DJs, alcohol-free drinks and dancing. NRG Haus has drawn coverage from Toronto Life, blogTO, NOW Toronto, Toronto Guardian, Streets of Toronto and SWAGGER Magazine, and holds a 4.8-star rating across more than 500 ClassPass reviews.
