ANTI:DOTE

Tucked into Level 1 of the Fairmont Singapore on Bras Basah Road in the City Hall / Civic District, ANTI:DOTE takes its cues from an old-world apothecary: cocktails are framed as remedies, and the current 'Cure-All' menu by Head Mixologist Kingston Chin is organised into three mood-led sections - Confident, Indulge and Reset. The bar is a fixture of the Singapore drinks scene and is featured as a World's 50 Best Discovery establishment.

The non-alcoholic offering is a real part of the programme rather than an afterthought. Every Tuesday from 5pm the bar runs 'Pretty Sober Night', a dedicated alcohol-free evening with a named zero-proof list - Virgin Sling, Mint Mojito, Good Fortune, Golden Reset and lighter pours such as Berry Mint Tea, Copenhagen Sparkling Tea and Alfonso Iced Tea - with alcohol-free cocktails starting from S$10++ and non-alcoholic beers including Heineken 0.0, Peroni 0.0 and Tsingtao 0.0.

Beyond that weekly night, several of the bar's signatures are built as full non-alcoholic versions. Ammachi's Coffee (S$22), inspired by Indian holistic healing and a medicinal spiced 'chukku kappi' coffee, rebuilds its whisky-and-rum base on Lyre's Malt and Spiced Cane to keep the depth without the alcohol, while Deja vu (S$22) reworks a Peruvian pisco-style drink around a homemade ginger tonic infused with cinchona bark.

The room pairs its remedy theme with vinyl DJ sets, jazz sessions and intimate listening experiences, plus bar snacks, making it an easy hotel-bar destination for drinkers who want a genuine zero-proof option in the same setting as the full cocktail list.
