F The Bar sits inside Fergusons Downtown at 1028 East Fremont Street, a 1940s motel that spent years abandoned before being redeveloped into a community marketplace east of the Fremont East entertainment district. The redevelopment kept the bones: the motel rooms survive, refurbished into freestanding boutiques, art studios and salons, the old parking lot is now a grassy lawn, and the front desk area became a bar. The complex is organised around Big Rig Jig, a forty-two-foot sculpture made from two 18-wheelers suspended in the air, and shares the site with Peyote and the Vegas Test Kitchen. F The Bar itself arrived in 2022 and is deliberately small — an eighty-person capacity room styled as greenhouse-meets-lounge, with more than fifty live plants distributed among banquettes, family-style highboys and a social bar.

The cocktail list is genuinely craft, running to builds like the Vegas Playground, The Clincher and Doctors Orders, and the non-alcoholic drinks are held to the same standard on a small standing mocktail section rather than being made up on request. The Heatwave combines watermelon soda, coconut syrup, lemon and lime juice and jalapeno with a Tajin rim; The Earl of Fergusons is built on Earl Grey iced tea with green apple syrup, passion fruit, lime juice and fresh mint; and the Spring Fling uses Lyre's non-alcoholic gin with dragon fruit syrup, orgeat and lemon juice. Any of the three can be ordered with a side of house shrub. The bar also runs a monthly hands-on mixology workshop, and the January edition, called Reset, was built specifically around clean mocktail-style drinks with the option to leave the spirit out entirely — the Las Vegas Review-Journal covered that class as one of the best drink deals in the city. Hours are limited and worth checking before travelling across town: Thursday 2pm to 10pm, and Friday through Sunday noon to 10pm.
