Bukit Timah Plaza is an older neighbourhood mall on Jalan Anak Bukit, and Hop Shop occupies unit B1-15 in its basement, one floor down from the street. It is a small, owner-run bottle shop rather than a bar, with no taps and no seating, but it holds one of the deeper craft beer ranges on the island: the shelves are organised by style, from hazy IPAs and sours to Trappist ales and barrel-aged stouts, and by country, with the United States, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Japan all represented alongside Singapore's own brewers. A parallel online store mirrors the shelves, with free delivery above S$125 and same-day delivery on orders placed before 6pm from Monday to Saturday, and online orders can be collected in store the same day. Reviews consistently mention the staff recommendations as the reason to come in person, and there is a discount for six bottles or more.

Beyond beer there were Collective Arts Botany adaptogenic elixirs at 0.0% in lemon, ginger and chamomile and in blueberry, mango and acai, and Living Things prebiotic sodas in rhubarb and apple and in raspberry. Stock rotates and individual lines sell out, so check the website before making the trip for one specific can. The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 11am to 8pm and on Sundays and public holidays from 11am to 5pm, and it answers stock questions on WhatsApp.
