Grey Ghost's printed drink menu carries a dedicated Mocktails section with six named non-alcoholic cocktails, from the Faygo-riffing House Rock & Rye (house-made cherry, vanilla, and cinnamon syrups over soda) to the tropical I Insist (coconut milk tea, cold brew coffee, pineapple, hot honey). The Brush Park steakhouse also pours Athletic Brewing's Free Wave for guests wanting a non-alcoholic beer. Detroit Free Press singled out the House Rock & Rye as delivering the city's nostalgic soda flavor "without the questionable ingredients."

Haraz Coffee House is a fully alcohol-free Yemeni coffeehouse on Michigan Avenue in East Dearborn, one block from the Arab American National Museum. Founder Hamzah Nasser opened the original shop in April 2021, building the menu around Yemeni staples like Mufawar (cardamom cold brew with creamy evaporated milk) and Adeni tea alongside spice-forward espresso drinks such as the Haraz Latte and Pistachio Latte. The New York Times featured Haraz in a June 2025 business story on the wave of Yemeni cafes meeting demand for late-night, alcohol-free social spaces. What started as one storefront in a converted insurance office has since scaled into a national franchise, with this East Dearborn location as the flagship.

Qahwah House is a fully alcohol-free Yemeni coffeehouse — there's no bar and never has been. It's the original location behind what's now a 30-plus-store chain, and the reason East Dearborn is a genuine destination for Yemeni coffee culture rather than just another espresso stop.

Cosmic Roots is a fully alcohol-free kava and tea house tucked inside Ferndale's Pavilion Street Market food hall, the only non-food stall among the market's vendors. Owner Isabel Cali, a certified alchemical herbalist, pours traditional South Pacific kava garnished with pineapple alongside house-blended iced teas like Summa'love (hibiscus, yerba mate, rose hips) and Mint Marshmelli (marshmallow root, lemon balm, spearmint), plus a Mexi Mushie Mocha built on fermented cacao and medicinal mushrooms. There's no alcohol anywhere on the premises — just kava, cacao, chai, and loose-leaf herbal tea, mixed to order.

Mumbai Chai is a fully alcohol-free cafe on Lincoln Street in Detroit's New Center, built around Mumbai-style street chai: masala chai hand-brewed with cardamom, ginger, and a house spice blend, plus ginger chai and cardamom coffee. The same storefront hosts Sen Kava, a botanical kava bar pouring noble-kava mocktails made with ceremonial cacao and functional herbs — the two run joint pop-up nights, including a June 2025 "Decompression Session" with AFTRCare and Anova Collective. There's no beer or wine anywhere on site; it's chai, coffee, and kava, full stop.

The Monarch Club prints a named "Zero Proof Libations" section on its cocktail menu, not an afterthought tacked to the wine list. Mockery Zero Proof is Detroit's first dedicated zero-proof bottle shop, stocking non-alcoholic spirits, wines, and beers out of a storefront on the Livernois–McNichols corridor in Bagley. Founder Karlyta Williams — trained as a zero-proof bartender over three years and previously ran a mobile NA bar — also books Private Pours, one-hour closed-door sessions where guests choose a guided non-alcoholic wine flight or a custom zero-proof cocktail mixed to their own flavor and mood. It soft-opened in November 2024 with a grand opening timed to Dry January 2025, and keeps a running calendar of sober social events, including a February 2026 Galentine's zero-proof gathering.
