506 H St NE, Washington, DC 20002
Binge Bar is Washington, DC's first 100% alcohol-free bar, founded by Filipina entrepreneur Vergie "Gigi" Arandid, who established the concept in June 2020 and opened the doors to the public on February 11, 2023. Set in a lower-level space at 506 H St NE in the H Street Corridor (Atlas District), it doubles as a Filipino bistro and events venue, serving traditional Filipino bites alongside plant-based, Mediterranean-influenced plates. The fully zero-proof bar program spans spirit-free cocktails, botanical elixirs, craft NA beers, vegan wines, and canned mocktails, with named drinks including the Cucumber Mangorita and an Espresso Old Fashioned. Confirmed non-alcoholic brands on the menu have included Seedlip, Free Spirits, and Mocktail Club. Beyond drinks, Binge Bar hosts monthly sober comedy shows and vegan brunches with live entertainment, framing itself as a welcoming, recovery-friendly community space. It was named "Best Craft Mocktail" in Washington City Paper's Best of DC reader poll in 2024, and was covered by Washingtonian and District Fray as a pioneering booze-free destination. Arandid describes it as "a comfortable space for people to really be vulnerable... and have fun at the very same time."
