Beyond the Bar is DFW's first alcohol-free bottle shop and dry bar, and by its own account the only one in Texas — a zero-proof shop and tasting room in a 1958 mid-century building in Richardson's Core District. The range runs past 280 products, from Athletic, Seedlip, Lyre's and Ritual to Almave, Ghia, Pathfinder and De Soi, alongside dealcoholised wines and functional drinks. The bar pours its own builds, including the Italian Spritz that won the Dallas Observer's Best Mocktail award, and the room hosts tastings and zero-proof cocktail classes.

DC's first fully alcohol-free bar, pairing zero-proof cocktails and craft NA drinks with a Filipino bistro and events space on H Street NE.

Sober Bar is a fully zero-proof bar and specialty coffee spot in downtown Gulfport — every drink on the menu is 100% alcohol-free. Opened in June 2026 after a run as a Tampa Bay pop-up, it's a New Orleans speakeasy-inspired room that pulls espresso, matcha, and kava-coffee drinks by day and pours craft zero-proof cocktails — Call Me an Ube, Red Widow, Linn & Juniper, Bee's Bouquet — on alcohol-alternative spirits by night, with NA beer and wine on hand. Owners Sean Hawthorne and Collin Horton built the room dark and moody rather than bright and wellness-adjacent, which is a deliberate signal about who it is for. Open 7am to 10pm midweek and to 1am at weekends — a genuinely rare thing for an alcohol-free venue.

Sobr Market's Danforth location is a fully alcohol-free bottle shop in Toronto's Danforth Village, just east of Coxwell Avenue and outside the Greektown strip proper. It's a franchise of the Sobr Market chain — which also runs Toronto stores at The Well and Summerhill — opened in 2025 and run by owner Jenn. Every product on the shelves is zero-proof: non-alcoholic wine, beer, spirits and ready-to-drink cocktails, curated into vegan, organic, gluten-free, kosher and halal selections.

Søbr Market is a fully non-alcoholic bottle shop and tasting bar on the lower level of Wellington Market, the food hall inside The Well, in Toronto's King West/Fashion District. The Toronto location relocated here at the end of 2025 after opening on Richmond Street, and functions as a retail shop rather than a full bar - every bottle, can, and pour on the shelves is zero-proof. Shoppers can still sit at the in-store tasting bar to sample spirits and de-alcoholized wines before buying, including brands like Lyre's, Ghia, Free Spirits, and Dr. Zero Zero.

Spirited Away was America's first booze-free bottle shop and it is still the most complete one in New York, now on Eighth Avenue in Chelsea after starting life on Mott Street. Nothing on the shelves contains meaningful alcohol. The buy runs past 100 brands — Seedlip and Ritual Zero Proof alongside Ghia and The Pathfinder, Copenhagen Sparkling Tea, Unified Ferments, non-alcoholic wines from Sovi and Prima Pave, plus beers, bitters, shrubs, amari, mixers and ready-to-drink cocktails. It opens noon to 8pm every day of the week and delivers across Manhattan, free over $100. The shop is not just retail: it runs in-store tastings and events, which for a lot of people is the low-pressure way into the category.

The Zero Co. is Atlanta's first dedicated non-alcoholic bottle shop, opened in December 2022 in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood by Cory and Malory Atkinson, the husband-and-wife team behind nearby Elemental Spirits Co. The shop grew out of the rapidly growing zero-proof section at Elemental and stocks more than 500 non-alcoholic products — spirit alternatives, de-alcoholized wines, NA beers, and ready-to-drink cans — alongside locally made shrubs, vinegars, bitters, and elixirs. A bar-cart sample station lets customers taste before buying, and the space hosts tastings and events. Carried brands include Ghia, Seedlip, Lyre's, Wilderton, Ritual Zero Proof, De Soi, Three Spirit, Free Spirits, Athletic Brewing, and more. As co-owner Malory Atkinson put it, the goal was a "warm and welcoming" space for all kinds of drinkers and non-drinkers.

Wallace Dry Goods is Ardmore's first fully non-alcoholic bottle shop, opened in early 2024 by owner Robin Cummiskey on the Main Line at 1 West Lancaster Avenue. Styled like a traditional bottle shop — shelves of "whiskey," wine, gin, and mixers — it stocks zero liquor; everything is alcohol-free. The shop sells NA spirits, beer, wine, cider, mixers, bitters, syrups, and ready-to-drink cans, plus barware, so non-drinkers have the same tools to build cocktails at home. Brands carried include Ghia, Ritual Zero Proof, Cut Above, Seedlip, Lyre's, Athletic Brewing, Abstinence, and Mingle Mocktails. A daily in-store tasting bar pours rotating samples and the occasional craft mocktail, and the shop hosts classes and events. Wallace Dry Goods was named Best Non-Alcoholic Bottle Shop in Philadelphia Magazine's 2024 Best of Philly awards.

ZERO Cocktail Bar bills itself as Canada's first non-alcoholic cocktail bar, pairing a full bar with an in-house bottle shop on Carlton Street in Toronto's Cabbagetown. The menu runs to fourteen named zero-proof cocktails - from a Power Serve of alternative whiskey and ginger beer to a Sorrel Negroni of hibiscus and spiced sorrel - built on NA brands including Free Spirits, Ghia, DR ZERO and Noughty. A retail bottle shop stocks NA wines, beers and alternative spirits alongside a café menu of hot and cold coffee drinks and pub food like loaded fries and grilled cheese.

Con Alma is a live-jazz supper club at 613 Penn Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District, serving a Latin-inspired menu alongside a genuine zero-proof programme. It began on Ellsworth Avenue in Shadyside in 2019 and opened Downtown in 2021; the Shadyside original has since closed, so this is now the only location — worth knowing, because much of the press about Con Alma describes the other room. Esquire named it one of the 27 best bars in America in 2021. It is owned by executive chef Josh Ross, music curator John Shannon and beverage director Aimee Marshall. The non-alcoholic section carries two built cocktails — an N/A Painkiller with coconut cream, orange, pineapple and nutmeg, and an N/A Mojito ($10) — plus Eins-Zwei-Zero 0% sparkling Riesling ($12), a Bravas non-alcoholic golden ale ($6) and a rotating NA beer. Unusually, it also sells zero-proof spirits by the pour at $8–$9: Free Spirits gin, bourbon and tequila, Dr Zero Zero AmarNo and Pentire Coastal Spritz. Budget for a per-person music charge during live sets ($10 Thursday and Sunday, $15 Friday and Saturday, $5 in the bar).

Grace by Nia is a supper club on the third floor of 60 Seaport Boulevard in Boston's Seaport, opened in May 2023 by restaurateur Nia Grace, who also runs Darryl's Corner Bar & Kitchen in the South End. It spans more than 5,000 square feet of dining room and stage, programming live jazz and soul most nights it is open, and the kitchen runs a Southern menu — chargrilled oysters, fried catfish, bourbon peach ribs, country fried chicken with carrot cake waffles, lobster mac and cheese. The drinks list carries a named alcohol-free section headed Free Spirit, built on zero-proof tequila and bourbon rather than juice, priced at $14 for the spirit-based builds. It opens Friday through Sunday only.

NØLO is Western North Carolina's dedicated non-alcoholic bottle shop — "adult beverages, without the booze" — curating NA beer, wine, spirits, functional drinks, RTD cocktails, and mixers, with in-store tastings and pop-ups for the sober and sober-curious. After losing its original storefront to Hurricane Helene, it is rebuilding a physical presence inside Atomic Furnishing on Broadway under owners Jen & Jason while continuing tastings and online sales, so it is worth confirming in-store hours before a special trip.
