Chelsea Corner has been a Knox-Henderson fixture for years — a big patio, a neighbourhood crowd, the sort of bar people end up at rather than plan for. Its zero-proof offering is correspondingly unpretentious and, measured by breadth, one of the strongest in Dallas: a printed Zero Proof / Mocktail Menu that covers cocktails, sparkling wine, beer and a michelada.
Ritual Zero Proof anchors the cocktails. There is a zero-proof espresso martini built on the tequila alternative with cold brew, a Tommy's margarita with agave and lime, and a cucumber mint spritz that combines Ritual's gin alternative with Lyre's Classico sparkling. A watermelon fresca covers the fruit-forward end. What sets the list apart is what surrounds it: Lyre's Classical Sparkling available by the glass and as non-alcoholic mimosas and bellinis, which makes weekend brunch work properly for a non-drinker, a michelada built on Heineken 0.0, and several Athletic Brewing varieties.
The practical value here is the hours and the format. This is a bar that opens at ten on weekend mornings and runs to two on Friday and Saturday nights, with a patio big enough to absorb a group — so it functions as an actual night out rather than a dinner reservation, which is the harder gap to fill without alcohol.
