The Fool's Kava House
Downtown Arlington
The Fool's Kava House is a fully alcohol-free kava bar in downtown Arlington, describing itself as a sober social community and open daily until 2am — the hours of a bar, without the bar. Alongside kava it pours botanical tonics across several strains, plus drip coffee, lattes, matcha and chai. It is billed as Arlington's first and only kava bar and as the first woman- and queer-owned kava bar in Texas. Note that kava is a psychoactive botanical: the room is alcohol-free but not substance-free.
Hours: Mon-Sun 11am-2am

Miss Angeline's on Denton's downtown square runs the deepest non-alcoholic cocktail list in the metroplex: a printed Non-Alcoholic Drinks section with eight named mocktails, nearly all built on Lyre's non-alcoholic spirits. The range covers a MockaRita, a French 86, a PiNO Colada, an EspressotiNO and a NOgroni — meaning a non-drinker can order across the whole cocktail canon rather than picking from two. Six taps and cans back it up, including Guinness Zero and four Athletic Brewing beers. Open daily until 2am.
Order: MockaRita (Lyre's agave spirit, lime, agave, orange) · French 86 (Lyre's gin alternative, raspberry, lemon, soda) · EspressotiNO (Lyre's coffee liqueur alternative, cold brew, cream)
Hours: Mon-Tue 12pm-12am; Wed-Sun 12pm-2am

Ritual, the late-night cocktail lounge that took over the former Alice space in Bryan Place in January 2026, gives non-drinkers a dedicated "Elixirs" section rather than a token Shirley Temple — four spirit-free cocktails built with the same intent as the full bar. The Elixirs were developed alongside the alcoholic list by Paul Ramon, named a Top 50 World Class U.S. Bartender in 2022, so they get the same modern-texture treatment (matcha cold foams, spiced infusions) as their spirited counterparts. The operating team frames the non-alcoholic program as a deliberate effort at "intentionality and inclusivity," not an afterthought.
Hours: Mon-Sun 5pm-2am

The Usual is Fort Worth's benchmark craft cocktail bar on Magnolia Avenue, and its menu carries a printed section headed "Practical Choices (NA)" — four zero-proof drinks built with the same technique as the spirituous list rather than tacked on as an afterthought. The lineup leans on Lyre's non-alcoholic spirits: the namesake Practical Choices pairs Lyre's London Spirit with lemon, molasses and sage, while Great Obsession stacks Lyre's NA gin with an NA verbena aperitif, Earl Grey and non-alcoholic IPA. It is a full bar, not an alcohol-free room, but the NA builds are priced and made like the rest of the menu.
Order: Practical Choices (Lyre's London Spirit, lemon, molasses, sage) · Great Obsession (Lyre's NA gin, NA verbena aperitif, lemon, Earl Grey, NA IPA) · Fire Adjacent (Black Ginger NA spirit, lemon, honey-ginger, chicory pecan bitters)

Chelsea Corner is a long-running Knox-Henderson neighbourhood bar with a big patio, and it keeps a printed Zero Proof / Mocktail Menu that is deeper than most dedicated cocktail bars manage. Ritual Zero Proof does the heavy lifting: a zero-proof espresso martini, a Tommy's margarita and a cucumber mint spritz that adds Lyre's Classico. Beyond the cocktails there is Lyre's sparkling by the glass or as mimosas and bellinis, a michelada built on Heineken 0.0, and several Athletic Brewing varieties. It opens at ten on weekend mornings and runs to two on Friday and Saturday nights, so it works as an actual night out rather than a dinner reservation.
Order: Espresso Martini Zero Proof (Ritual tequila alternative, cold brew) · Tommy's Margarita (Ritual tequila alternative, agave, lime) · Cucumber Mint Spritz (Ritual gin alternative, Lyre's Classico, cucumber, mint, lime)

The Libertine is a Lower Greenville neighbourhood pub whose printed Mocktails section has proven genuinely durable — all four drinks covered by press in January 2025 are still on the menu today, which is rare in a category built on seasonal promotions. The Aper-not Spritz uses Ritual's aperitif alternative with orange juice and grapefruit soda; alongside it sit a Lavender Bee's Knees, a Cucumber Mint Gimlet and a Shirley De-Luxe, all at one price. Athletic Brewing's Run Wild and Upside Dawn and Sam Adams Just the Haze cover non-alcoholic beer.

The Kava Bar – North Dallas
North Dallas
The Kava Bar – North Dallas is a fully alcohol-free social lounge in the Pepper Square center on Preston Road, next to Trader Joe's, pouring kava, kratom, botanical elixirs, coffee, matcha, and tea — no alcohol served. It opened at this address in 2023 as one of North Dallas's first kava bars and bills itself as "a social bar experience: minus the alcohol, plus the good vibes," open daily 8am to midnight. Flavored kava builds like the Churro Cha Cha (chocolate or vanilla, cinnamon agave, coconut cream) are made the traditional way — the root squeezed and served from a coconut shell — and the space runs open-mic and sober-social events for a late-night crowd that wants somewhere to hang without booze.

The Kava Bar — Fort Worth
Camp Bowie, Fort Worth
The Fort Worth outpost of The Kava Bar, which trades as The Sagebrush Social, is fully alcohol-free — its own description is that alcohol is replaced by a menu of kava, coffee and botanical drinks. The house pours classic and blended kava, botanical elixirs, teas, and a coffee and matcha programme built on Lemma Coffee Roasters. Its location-exclusive drink is The Cowtown Calm, kava blended with local wildflower honey, coconut milk and a pinch of smoked salt. Kava is a psychoactive botanical, so the room is alcohol-free but not substance-free.

Earls Kitchen + Bar — Legacy West
Legacy West, Plano
Earls in Legacy West prints two alcohol-free sections — Zero Proof for the mixed drinks and Non-Alcoholic for beer and soft options. Cheaper builds include an Italian Spritz, a Strawberry Hibiscus Mule and a rotating sparkling lemonade, with Guinness 0 and Athletic Brewing's Run Wild on the beer list.

Electric Shuffle is Deep Ellum's high-tech shuffleboard bar, pairing competitive group gameplay with a documented non-alcoholic drink programme that goes well past soda-and-lime. The two longest-running mocktails are the Hibiscus No-Jito, a mojito riff on hibiscus ginger beer with lime and mint, and the Texas Sunset, which swaps tequila for pineapple, orange, lime grenadine and Topo Chico; a seasonal Poppi collaboration adds four more, including an Orange Creamsicle and a Strawberry Cucumber Smash. Athletic Brewing's Hazy IPA, IPA and Lite cover the beer list. Because there is full table service at the 17 shuffleboard tables, a non-drinker orders the same way as everyone else without leaving the game.
Order: Hibiscus No-Jito · Texas Sunset · Orange Creamsicle

Catbird is the rooftop bar at the Thompson Dallas, occupying the upper floors of the old National tower on Elm Street, and its current menu carries a printed Non-Alcoholic Cocktails section. Barbie Girl builds Lyre's London Dry against rhubarb syrup under a matcha concentrate float; Canned Responses runs lychee, coconut and almond into something closer to a tiki drink; and Shoots & Ladders is made with a house-fermented pineapple bamboo tepache. Heineken 0.0 is on the beer list. The section is offered the other way round too — any of the three can be made spirited for a small supplement, which is a rare and genuinely useful courtesy for a mixed table where one person is drinking and another is not.

The Kava Bar — Oak Cliff
Oak Cliff
The Kava Bar — Oak Cliff is a fully alcohol-free botanical lounge at 337 W Jefferson Boulevard, just off the Bishop Arts District, opened on 15 February 2025 as part of a small Texas group with sibling locations in Denton, North Dallas and Fort Worth. Instead of liquor it pours kava — the earthy South Pacific root prized for its calming effect — alongside house kratom brews, botanical elixirs, matcha, herbal teas and single-origin coffee. ALCOHOL-FREE BUT NOT SUBSTANCE-FREE: kava and kratom are both psychoactive, and kratom in particular is one we would normally warn hard about. This venue is the exception worth naming. It publishes a printed dosage table — roughly 1.3g of kratom per 8oz drink, a recommended maximum of 4g per drink and 16g in 24 hours — plus explicit warnings that it is not for pregnant or nursing women, not to be followed by driving, and that "anything that makes you feel good can become habit-forming... Consider avoiding any potentially habit-forming substances if you have a history of substance abuse." Kratom is 18-and-over. Guests under 18 are welcome with a guardian until 8pm, with a kid-friendly menu that is 100% kava-free. Named drinks include The Classic Shell ($8), The Bula ($9) and The Teal Latte ($7).
Order: The Classic Shell ($8, ceremonial-grade kava in a coconut bilo) · The Bula ($9, kava, coconut milk, vanilla) · The Teal Latte ($7, ceremonial matcha, oat milk, raw honey)

Athletic Brewing's Upside Dawn non-alcoholic beer is also poured. The zero-proof list runs alongside the same premium seafood, sushi and steak dining room the national Catch brand is known for.

City Works Eatery & Pour House
Clearfork, Fort Worth
City Works at The Shops at Clearfork runs a printed "Zero-Proof (Spirit-Free)" section of roughly eleven items — unusually deep for a beer-forward restaurant. The strongest build is the Peace Punch, made with Seedlip Grove 42, orange and pineapple juice, cream of coconut, lime and grenadine. Others include a Garden Nojito (cucumber, mint, lime, lavender and raspberry syrups), a Mellow Mule with blueberry syrup and ginger beer, and a Strawberry Soothe. Some items in the section are house lemonades and dirty sodas rather than mixed drinks.
Order: Peace Punch (Seedlip Grove 42, orange, pineapple, cream of coconut, lime, grenadine) · Garden Nojito (cucumber, mint, lime, lavender syrup, raspberry syrup, soda) · Mellow Mule (cucumber, honey syrup, blueberry syrup, lime, ginger beer)

The Charlotte on Henderson Avenue prints a boxed Zero Proof section, and unusually every drink in it is a martini variant — the format zero-proof lists almost always skip, because a drink served up with nothing to hide behind is the hardest kind to build without alcohol. The Dirty Martini runs Ritual's gin alternative with olive juice and blue cheese-stuffed olives; alongside it sit a Pornstar Martini made with vanilla, pineapple, passion fruit and non-alcoholic sparkling, an espresso martini and a pomegranate martini. The restaurant publishes no telephone number and no closing times, and its own Instagram says only that it opens daily at 11am, so check before a late visit.
Order: Dirty Martini (Ritual gin alternative, olive juice, blue cheese olives) · Pornstar Martini (vanilla, pineapple, passion fruit, NA sparkling) · Espresso Martini

How this page decides what counts
Three facts, all verified, all required. The venue has to rate at least 4 of 5 for its non-alcoholic program — a fully alcohol-free room, or a licensed venue with a strong named zero-proof list, the same floor our Dallas sober bars page uses. It has to be somewhere you can sit, so bottle shops are out. And its hours have to run past midnight on at least one night, which is what makes this a nightlife page rather than a second copy of the sober bars list: at that cut a restaurant with a good zero-proof menu drops out, and the bars, lounges, kava bars and late coffeehouses remain.
“No alcohol served” is written on a card only when the venue's own verified description says so — never inferred from a rating or a name. Everything else here is a bar with a real non-alcoholic program, and it is labelled as a bar. Hours are the venue's live listing, re-synced weekly; the drinks on each venue page were read off its current menu and carry the date we last confirmed them.
Questions people ask
Yes. We have verified 17 Dallas venues that both keep a strong zero-proof list and stay open past midnight on at least one night: The Fool's Kava House, Miss Angeline's, Ritual, The Usual, Chelsea Corner, The Libertine Bar and more. The latest close we found is 2am.
6 of the 17: The Fool's Kava House, The Kava Bar – North Dallas, The Kava Bar — Fort Worth, Kava Culture Kava Bar — Frisco, Kava Culture Kava Bar — North Fort Worth, The Kava Bar — Oak Cliff. Each is marked "no alcohol served" on this page because its own verified record says so. The rest are licensed bars and lounges with a real non-alcoholic program — named drinks, real zero-proof spirits, a printed section — where alcohol is also served.
Every venue here closes after midnight on at least one night; the card for each shows the latest closing time and how many nights a week it applies. The list is ordered latest-first. Hours come from each venue's live business listing and are re-synced weekly — but late hours are the first thing a bar trims, so check the day before a special trip.
Order from the zero-proof list by name — every venue here has one, and each venue's own page lists the drinks we read off its current menu with ingredients and prices. A named drink built on a real non-alcoholic spirit (Seedlip, Lyre's, Ritual, Pathfinder and the like) is a different thing from a soda with fruit in it, and it is priced and served like a cocktail. If the list has changed since we checked, ask what the bar is making that week rather than for "a mocktail".
It is an honest one. The venues marked "no alcohol served" are rooms where nobody at the next table is drinking either, and for many people that is the only kind of night out that works. The licensed venues are bars — good ones for a non-drinker, but bars — and the page says so plainly rather than blurring the two. Choose by the label, not the name.
